Work Accident Compensation Cases in New Jersey

Trenton, the capital of New Jersey with a population of approximately 84,000 inhabitants, is one of the cities with the greatest number of manufacturing companies in the United States. Therefore, Trenton accounts for a significant percentage of workplace accidents for the past several years. Grupo MedLegal has resolved several cases in this city and we will share a few of those here:

Compensation for a fall in the workplace: On December 12, a construction employee injured his hip, back, and foot when a ladder he was working on swayed, causing him to fall 6 feet. He reported his work accident and was sent to the emergency room, but his employer refused to cover his treatment through the insurance company.

Compensation for pain due to stress on the job: On September 22, due to the severe stress he was subject to on a daily basis, a valet parking employee suffered a stroke.

Compensation for workplace injury: On December 18, while lifting a pallet, a trailer cleaning service employee injured his head and right eye when the pallet slipped from his hand and hit his head. He reported his accident and was sent to the doctor; however, he was immediately released.

Compensation for workplace accident: On December 9, a painter was injured upon tripping with a bucket of paint and falling on his face, which caused fractures to his jaw. He reported his accident, but 15 days passed without his employers providing treatment through the insurance company, and he had to undergo two costly surgeries.
